The Location
The hotel is located at the entrance to Belle Plagne and faces South / South-West with gorgeous views across the unspoilt mountains of the Tarentaise. To see the area, click map
Belle Plagne is one of twelve villages in the La Plagne resort. At 2,050 metres, it is one of the highest in the valley and offers some of the best and latest snows in the whole area. La Plagne is linked by cable car to Les Arcs and together these two domaines form “Paradiski”, one of the world’s biggest skiing areas with an incredible 239 pistes covering 425km of runs (Re-opening in Christmas 2008).
The village is built of traditional materials and is one of the most picturesque in the valley. The village enjoys a number of bars and restaurants, a bowling alley as well as the vibrant Saloon “bar dansant” for those looking to sample some lively French après-ski.
The cable car stays open til midnight offering the further distraction of a number of bars and clubs – for those prepared to stay out late and make the 15 minute walk back up the slopes.

Property to appreciate
With the limits imposed by the French government on future development in the area, we anticipate good potential for high capital growth.
This is supported by a recent study produced by the Association de Notaires which showed that the average price per square meter of new apartments in the Tarentaise was € 9,290 and that capital appreciation experienced in the neighbouring villages of Courchevel and Meribel was 146% since 1998, and in the case of Val d’Isere was 179% in the same period.

Owners’ weeks
Reserve your suite for any two weeks of the wonderful winter season – one in peak season if you wish (Christmas, New Year, mid-February or Easter) and the other at any other time. You can also choose any two additional weeks during the hotel’s summer season (planned to be July and August). Each week normally runs from Sunday to Sunday in order to benefit from the quieter traffic conditions to and from the airports. A charge, equal to a percentage of the total winter season (weighted in favour of off-peak weeks) applies to any owners weeks taken, which for your convenience can simply be deducted from the rental income paid to you.
The operator, Esprit has agreed that owners may exchange their winter Owners Weeks in the hotel for weeks in a range of other similarly priced Chalet Hotels or chalets operated by them. |
